KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs800 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following a rise in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs462,936 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs686 to Rs396,893.Gold rates increased by $8 to $4,404 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs72 to Rs7,141 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs62 to Rs6,122.
