PARACHINAR: Two members of the Ali Sherzai tribe were killed on Monday in an alleged drone strike in the Tindu Ado area of the Kurram district, police said.
According to police sources, two people were critically injured in the drone strike in Tindu, an area of central Kurram.They were shifted to Sadda Hospital for treatment but later succumbed to their injuries.Both deceased were members of the Ali Sherzai tribe, police confirmed.
Meanwhile, incidents of terrorism, including drone attacks, have increased in central Kurram, according to local sources.Separately, a station house officer (SHO) who was abducted from the Trali area of central Kurram four days ago has yet to be recovered, police said.Police said investigations into the drone strike were under way and efforts were continuing to recover the abducted SHO.
