KARACHI: Majlis-e-Pakistan, a Pakistani technology professionals’ community based in Saudi Arabia, hosted a networking event, ‘Pakistan Tech Meetup’, in Riyadh to support Pakistani IT companies and startups seeking to establish and expand their businesses in the Kingdom, a statement said on Friday.

The event brought together Pakistani technology professionals, investors, entrepreneurs and startup founders based in Saudi Arabia, who offered partnership, collaboration and investment opportunities to Pakistani IT companies and startups participating in the fifth edition of LEAP 2026.

Patron-in-Chief of Majlis-e-Pakistan Saqib Zubair said the Pakistani technology and business community in Saudi Arabia is committed to providing strategic support to Pakistani IT companies and startups in establishing operations, accessing financing and raising funds.

Saad Shah, CEO of Hexalyze, said Pakistani technology companies have significant opportunities to expand offshore operations in the GCC market, particularly in Saudi Arabia, where Vision 2030 is creating new avenues for investment.

Chairperson of P@SHA Sajjad Syed said the growing number of Pakistani IT companies establishing offices in Saudi Arabia is a positive development for the country’s technology exports.

More than 50 IT companies participated in the meetup, held on the sidelines of LEAP 2026, featuring addresses by business leaders and panel discussions on investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
