KARACHI: Chery Master Pakistan plans to launch the all-electric Chery Q at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18, adding another model to the country’s growing new-energy vehicle market.

The company will announce the vehicle’s price and open bookings at the event, according to a statement issued by Chery Master Pakistan.

Chery Q is equipped with a 42.7 kilowatt-hour battery and has a claimed range of up to 400 kilometres under the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). The company says the vehicle has an efficiency of up to 9.4 kilometres per unit.

The car has a 2,700mm wheelbase and is equipped with Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems, automatic parking assistance, a 15.6-inch display and vehicle-to-load functionality.

Chery Q will add an electric model to Chery Master Pakistan’s existing vehicle line-up. Pricing and booking details are expected to be announced at the auto show, the company said.
