ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved assigning Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi the additional charge of Member (Legal) in the Ministry of Information Technology.
Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi is currently Chairman of Social Media Complaint Cell (SMCC). He has been given additional charge of Member (Legal) for a period of three months. He will be deemed to have assumed the post of Member (Legal) with effect from August 1, 2026. The government has accepted resignation of Atiyab Sultan, a Grade-18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was posted in Punjab government. Her resignation has been accepted with effect from August 5, 2026.
Shehzad Akbar, a Grade-18 officer of Police Service of Pakistan posted at Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has been sent to United States to pursue an MSc in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University under Fulbright Scholarship Programme 2026-27.
