RAWALPINDI: Judicial Magistrate and Duty Judge Adil Sarwar Sial has sent the accused named in the high-profile Hina Javed murder case of Civil Lines Police Station to Adiala Jail on judicial remand following the completion of their 10-day physical remand.
After the completion of a four-day remand on Wednesday, the police presented both accused — the victim’s husband, Faisal Asghar, and his employee and co-accused, Zeeshab — in the court. The police did not request a further physical remand and subsequently the court sent both the accused to jail.
Civil Lines Police registered the case under Sections 302/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Fahad Javed. According to the FIR, the victim’s father-in-law, Asghar Fayaz phonedJaved and said,
“There is an emergency, come immediately.” When he reached there, he found his sister lying dead in the bathroom of the house. Her hands were tied behind her back, while a wire was wrapped around her neck and tied to the shower. Foam and blood were flowing from the victim’s mouth. According to the case, the victim’s husband, Faisal Asghar, along with his father, Asghar Fayaz, and employee Zeeshan, committed the murder.
