Rawalpindi: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi declared the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I Annual Examination 2026 here Wednesday, recording a low pass percentage of 37.56 percent.
Announcing the results at the board campus, BISE Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood confirmed that out of 124,430 total enrolled candidates, 121,739 appeared for the examination. A total of 45,724 candidates passed, while 76,015 students were declared unsuccessful, 2,354 remained absent and 337 admission forms were cancelled due to technical non-compliance.
Iqbal said that the evaluation and compilation process strictly adhered to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of transparency, merit and technological integration along with educational reform directives issued by Provincial Education Minister Rana, Sikandar Hayat.
Congratulating the successful candidates, the Chairman commended board officials and staff for executing error-free result compilations, while encouraging unsuccessful students to address their academic weaknesses and prepare diligently for upcoming examinations. — APP
