Islamabad:Chairman Capital Development Authority and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Sohail Ashraf, conducted a detailed visit to Sector C-14 and Sangjani Interchange to review ongoing development works, construction pace, quality standards and project timelines.
Member Building, Member Estate, Member Administration, DG Works, DG Infrastructure, Chief Officer MCI, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and other senior officers accompanied him.
During the visit to Sector C-14, officials briefed the chairman that basic infrastructure development has been completed and work on electricity provision is in its final stage. Installation of light poles on major roads and of signboards on streets has also been completed. Landscaping and horticulture work along main roads is progressing rapidly to give the sector a modern and attractive look.
Officials further informed that, following the completion of development works, the process of handing over possession of developed plots to allottees has formally commenced.The CDA chairman directed that all remaining works in Sector C-14 be completed on a priority basis and impediments removed without delay. He stressed that plot possession should be handed over to citizens at the earliest and that all administrative and technical procedures be expedited.
“These initiatives will help meet the growing residential needs of citizens and provide improved urban facilities in Islamabad,” he said. He warned that unnecessary delays in handing over possession after completion of development would not be tolerated. Later, Ashraf visited Sangjani Interchange and inspected ongoing construction.
