While the Whites celebrated a third-place finish, the heavy loss to Russia raised critical questions about squad depth and physical management in international hockey. Analysts noted that the undersized roster struggled to sustain intensity across consecutive matches, particularly against top-tier opposition.
Captain and goalkeeper Muneeb-ur-Rehman was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament, marking a remarkable comeback after missing the World Cup due to injury.
