KARACHI: Pakistan-origin Shahroze Khan reached the quarterfinals at World Squash Masters in Perth, Australia, on Wednesday. In the pre-quarters of the over 40 category, Shahroze, representing Australia, overpowered his compatriot Karamatullah Khan, representing the US, 8-11, 12-10, 5-11, 11-4, 11-5.
Now, he is to face Devon Hendriske from South Africa in the quarters. “Shahroze is a good player and he gave me tough time. I wish him further progress at this championship,” said Karamat while talking to ‘The News’ after the match.
