CHITRAL: Teachers, students, officials and people in general in Upper Chitral have expressed concern over the government’s decision to suspend mail delivery to the area.
They said important documents had been kept packed in sacks for the past month due to the suspension of postal services.According to information obtained by residents, the federal government had stopped the funds for mail transportation and distribution, and no mail would be delivered until further orders.
They termed the suspension a grave injustice to the people of Upper Chitral, saying that the continued disruption of postal services was causing serious difficulties for students, teachers, and other residents who depended on the postal system for receiving important documents.
