KARACHI: National Rifle Association of Pakistan is sending national shooters to different international events in a bid to win quota places for Olympics 2028.
A number of shooters participated in two world cups in China and Italy in July and now the next stop is the Asian Games in Japan in September. After that, national shooters will take part in an ISSF World Championship in Qatar in November and then ISSF World Cup in Mexico in March next year.
NRAP also plans to send shooters to an ISSF World Cup in India in April 2027 and then there are two world cups in Germany and Italy in May and June, respectively, in which national contingent will participate. Pakistan’s shooters have already participated in ISSF World Cup in Germany in May, Abu Dhabi Grand Pix Shotgun in Abu Dhabi in January, and ISSF World Cup in Morocco in April.
