A fire broke out on Sunday at a cattle farm in Bilal Colony, Korangi, and spread to three other adjoining farms due to strong winds, rescue officials said.

According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, a fire tender and ambulance were dispatched to the site immediately after the incident was reported to the Central Command and Control Centre.

Fire brigade officials said the blaze started in hay stored at a cattle farm. Wooden material kept at the site also caught fire, intensifying the blaze. The fire damaged a total of four cattle farms, but no casualties were reported. Rescue 1122 said the fire was brought under control with the help of three fire tenders.
