Diplomats of Japan and Iran extended congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of 79th Independence Day.
Iranian consul general Akbar Eisaa Zadeh in his message extended his warmest and most sincere congratulations to the government, armed forces and brotherly people of the Pakistan on the 79th anniversary of its Independence, celebrated on August 14.
He said August 14 served as a profound reminder of the tireless efforts, immense sacrifices, and visionary leadership of Pakistan’s founding fathers, particularly Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah whose steadfast guidance and statesmanship led the nation toward the realization of its cherished ideal of freedom and the establishment of an independent Pakistan.
The Iranian consul general said the bonds between Iran and Pakistan transcended mere geographical proximity as the relations between the two countries were built upon the solid foundations of history, culture, religion, and deep people-to-people commonalities.
He said Iran took pride in being the first country to officially recognise Pakistan’s independence, and since then, the two nations had consistently stood side by side through times of hope and trial.
Japan’s consul general in Karachi HATTORI Masaru also extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of 79th Independence Day of the country. He said Japan and Pakistan had enjoyed long-standing friendship built on mutual respect, trust and cooperation.
