Islamabad : Pakistan’s technology sector is gaining global recognition, with seven Pakistanis named to Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list for 2026 in fintech, science and entrepreneurship. The country now ranks 16th worldwide in the Global Outsourcing Talent Index, ahead of the UK, Germany and France, says a press release.
JazzCash has also become the first Pakistani fintech to be listed among the world’s top payments companies by CNBC and Statista, serving over 60 million customers.
Beyond these milestones, Pakistani professionals are helping build financial infrastructure in major global hubs, including London. One example is Ahsan Jadoon, Product Manager at UK-based fintech Frontier Pay. He leads development of the company’s core banking platform, designed to integrate payments, cards, foreign exchange and digital wallets on a single ledger instead of relying on multiple disconnected providers.
“When we looked at how fintech platforms operated, we saw unnecessary complexity,” Jadoon said. “Our goal was one foundation where every product works from the same ledger, making reconciliation and expansion simpler.”
