MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Department has increased the wheat quota for flour mills in eight districts of Hazara Division to provide subsidised flour to people.
“We have increased the mills’ daily quota from 226 to 283 metric tons to provide wheat flour to people at subsidised prices throughout the division. We are conducting surprise visits to ensure that millers comply with standard operating procedures and provide quality flour to buyers,” Divisional Deputy Director Food, Hazara, Syed Ansar Qayyum told reporters here on Wednesday.
He said the government was striving to provide maximum relief to people through subsidised wheat flour while maintaining the quality and quantity of the commodity in all eight districts of Hazara.
