PO wanted in 16 crime cases arrested

LAHORE:Police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in 16 financial crime cases registered at 13 different police stations in the provincial capital, according to the Investigation Wing.

The arrest was carried out by a police team led by Gulberg Police Station Investigation In-charge Ali Raza on the directions of DIG Investigation Lahore Syed Zeeshan Raza. Police said the suspect was arrested with the help of professional skills and human intelligence.

DIG Investigation said efforts would be made to secure the suspect’s conviction through police-prosecution cooperation. He said police were working round-the-clock to uphold the rule of law and protect the lives and property of citizens. SSP Investigation M Naveed announced certificates of appreciation for the police team involved in the arrest.
