KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs4,200 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following a rise of $42 to $4,415 per ounce in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs463,936 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,601 to Rs397,750.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Moreover, silver rates increased by Rs146 to Rs7,111 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs125 to Rs6,096.
