PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court Bar Association has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Medway International to provide its members access to online medical consultations with leading specialists and physicians from Pakistan and abroad.
The agreement was signed by Medway International Chief Executive Officer Dr Amir Mir and Peshawar High Court Bar Association president Ameen-ur-Rehman Yousafzai Advocate at a ceremony held at the Peshawar High Court.
Under the agreement, members of the Bar Association will be able to seek medical advice through online consultations from specialists and physicians in Pakistan, the United States, Europe, India and other countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Amir Mir said Medway International would facilitate lawyers in connecting with leading medical specialists worldwide, enabling them to obtain expert advice without travelling abroad.
He said patients would only have to pay the doctor’s consultation fee, while Medway International would not charge any additional service fee.Peshawar High Court Bar Association President Ameen-ur-Rehman Yousafzai welcomed Dr Amir Mir to the High Court and said the agreement would allow lawyers to consult doctors and specialists of their choice from around the world.He said lawyers had demanding professional schedules, making online medical consultations particularly useful for them.
