Judicial probe begins into 2 girls’ death in police custody

LAHORE:A judicial magistrate has initiated an inquiry under Section 176 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) into the suspicious deaths of two underage girls, Amina and Anmol, in police custody on August 4. 

 The inquiry was launched after the victims’ families demanded an impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths while in custody at Township police station.
