HYDERABAD: A torchlight rally was held from Naseem Nagar Chowk to the headquarters of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) in Hyderabad to demand action against alleged irregularities in the commission’s recruitment process.
A large number of students, citizens, lawyers and people from different sections of society participated in the rally. The organisers said the rally was aimed at drawing the attention of the government and authorities concerned to their demands and raising their voice for justice.
They said lighting torches in the darkness conveyed the message that the people of Sindh were awake and would not remain silent if justice was not provided to the affected candidates. Social activists, lawyers and student leaders, including Sindhu Nawaz Ghanghro, Hamza Ali Chandio, Advocate Israr Chang, Jan Muhammad Junejo and Kashish Khawaja participated in the rally.
