In celebrations of Pakistan’s Independence Day, the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (Sepa) building was brilliantly illuminated with green lights today to promote a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
This visually striking display aimed to convey a powerful message about the significance of environmental protection and a green Sindh The green theme extended both inside and outside the SEPA headquarters symbolising national pride and environmental responsibility. The building’s exterior was adorned with a harmonious combination of green, red and other vibrant colors reflecting the flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
This visual representation highlighted the recently signed joint defence agreement in Makkah emphasising strong relationships and strategic cooperation between these countries. Sindh Environment and Coastal Development Secretary Faisal Aqili explained that the purpose of the green lighting was to merge the spirit of freedom with the vital message of environmental stewardship.
Sepa Director General emphasised the agency’s commitment to raising environmental awareness by celebrating national holidays with unique initiatives. The green themed decoration on this Independence Day was a call to action for citizens encouraging them to adopt eco-friendly habits as part of their patriotic duties.
Tree planting, reducing air pollution conserving natural resources and maintaining cleanliness were highlighted as essential measures to ensure a secure future for upcoming generations. Langa urged the public to adopt responsible habits regarding the environment for a clean and green Sindh.
With its vibrant display, the Sepa building not only celebrated national independence but also reinforced an important message that protecting the environment was a shared national responsibility.
