PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Culture, Tourism and Arts Organisation organised a ceremony here on Saturday to launch its national song, “Junoon-e-Azadi”, in connection with Independence Day celebrations.
“Junoon-e-Azadi” has been written by Dr Shahida Shaheen Sardar, said a press release.The song is being presented by the organisation as a national and cultural gift for the Independence Day celebrations, aimed at promoting patriotism, national unity and Pakistan’s positive image through art and music.
Ibrahim Kamal, Prof Dr Shaheen Umar, Dr Shahida Shaheen Sardar, Jamshed Ali Khan and Naz Parveen spoke at the ceremony, which was held at the China Window in Peshawar.The speakers appreciated the initiative, saying that promoting national spirit through art, literature, music and culture, as well as introducing the younger generation to Pakistan’s positive image, was the need of the hour.

Kamal.He said the primary objective of the organisation was to promote Pakistan’s culture, tourism, arts, literature and historical heritage at national and international levels. Khilji said the launch of “Junoon-e-Azadi” marked an important step in the organisation’s cultural and creative journey.
