LAHORE : Punjab Police have arrested 26,803 accused and registered 26,151 cases during operations against drug peddlers across the province this year so far, while large quantities of drugs and alcohol were also recovered. According to police records, 1,281.87-kg heroin, 318.58-kg opium and 14,951.885-kg hashish were recovered from drug peddlers during the operations.
