Under the revised schedule, single-shift primary schools will operate from 8am to 2:30pm from Monday to Thursday between August 6 and October 31. On Fridays, the schools will remain open from 8am to 1pm. During the winter period, from November 1 to March 31, single-shift primary schools will operate from 8:30am to 3pm.

For double-shift elementary, secondary and higher secondary schools, the first shift will run from 7:30am to 1:30pm between August 6 and October 31. From November 1 to March 31, the first shift will operate from 8am to 1:45pm.

The department has also notified revised timings for single-shift elementary, secondary and higher secondary schools, as well as the first and second shifts of double-shift primary schools. The detailed schedules have been communicated to district education authorities and school administrations. Officials said the revised timings were aimed at ensuring uniformity in school operations and improving the management of academic activities throughout the year.
