PESHAWAR: The 16th Senate meeting of the Agricultural University Peshawar on Friday approved the university’s budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 along with several key administrative and financial decisions.
Chaired by Adviser to the Chief Minister on Agriculture and Pro-Chancellor Mian Muhammad Umar, the Senate endorsed the university’s annual performance for 2025, ratified the Annual Report for 2024-25, and approved other agenda items aimed at strengthening the institution’s governance and academic development.
He emphasised the need for the university to pursue self-reliance in order to further improve academic standards, research output and administrative efficiency.
