Pakistan women’s netball team in Hong Kong for Asian event

LAHORE: The Pakistan women’s netball team has reached Hong Kong to compete in the Asian Women’s Netball Championship 2026 (Plate Division).

The Plate Division features teams from Japan, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, and South Korea, while the Cup Division includes Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka.

Led by Noor-ul-Ain Hussain, Pakistan will play their opening match against Japan tomorrow at 9:00 AM (Pakistan time), followed by a second fixture against Thailand on August 10. The Pakistan Sports Board has issued the official No Objection Certificate (NOC) for participation. The team has already joined a training session under the supervision of Coach Ms Haroona Zaman, who briefed the players on technical points ahead of their first match.
