I highly appreciate the initiative of providing free education to 10 per cent of deserving students in each private school, to ensure equal education. This initiative will help poor students to get a quality education and give their parents relief from the burden of high fees. It will also reduce inequality in education.
The government should ensure a fair and unbiased selection and proper selection criteria should be set. A monitoring team should monitor all private schools and ensure implementation.
