ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued a number of posting and transfer orders within the federal bureaucracy.

Federal Secretary for Education Nadeem Mahbub has been granted a further three-month extension in his additional charge as Secretary of Maritime Affairs Division, effective July 29, 2026.

Abdul Qadir, a Grade-18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service serving under Punjab government, has been granted overseas study leave from September 15, 2026, to August 15, 2027. Upon completion of his leave, he will report to Establishment Division. Dr Maliha Khudadad, a Grade-18 Senior Lady Medical Officer in Balochistan Health Department, has been transferred and appointed as Medical Officer (Grade-18) at Polyclinic Hospital, Islamabad, on a three-year deputation.

Hafiz Asim Mahmood Joiya, a Grade-17 Assistant Director at National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), has been transferred and appointed as Budget and Accounts Officer (Grade-17) at Directorate General Fisheries, Punjab, Lahore, on a three-year deputation.

Rashid Ahmad, a Section Officer in Ministry of Education, has been transferred to Pakistan Land Port Authority on a three-year deputation.

Muhammad Amjad Alam Sher Malik has been transferred from Ministry of Science and Technology and appointed as Section Officer in Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

Farhan Akhtar, previously serving as Section Officer in Ministry of National Health Services, has been transferred and appointed as Section Officer in Ministry of Science and Technology. Tayyaba Ali, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Section Officer in Federal Education and Professional Training Division.
