ChakwalL: On the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day, solidarity was expressed with the oppressed Kashmiri people in Chakwal district as well as across the country, says a press releaae.
On this occasion, rallies were organized at the district and tehsil headquarters, while a central solidarity rally was organized by the district administration at the District Complex Chakwal, led by Assistant Commissioner Chakwal Dr. Arsalan Sikandar.
The rally was attended by Chief Officer District Council Muhammad Fayyaz Hashmi, Deputy Director Agriculture Extension Wasim Abbas, Deputy Director Social Welfare Wasim Abbas Baloch, Incharge Rescue 1122 Dr. Atiq Ahmed Khan, Civil Defense, Pera Force, Principal DPS Muhammad Nadeem Sarwar, officers and officials of various government departments, President Pakistan Labor Federation Chakwal Muhammad Riaz Malik and representatives of civil society.
The participants held the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and strongly condemned India’s illegal actions, serious human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the ongoing atrocities on the Kashmiri people.
The rally participants raised slogans in support of the right of self-determination and freedom of the Kashmiri people and reiterated their resolve that the entire nation of Pakistan stands with their Kashmiri brothers at all levels and will continue to provide political, diplomatic and moral support to their just struggle. At the end of the rally, Assistant Commissioner Chakwal Arsalan Sikandar said that the entire Pakistani nation salutes the freedom struggle, sacrifices and spirit of freedom of the Kashmiri people.
