KOHAT: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Kohat, on Wednesday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations 2026, with three students from Cadet College Kohat securing the top positions.
The results were announced at a ceremony held at the Kohat University auditorium, where Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education Khalid Khan was the chief guest. He distributed prizes among the position holders. According to the board, Muhaimin Siraj of Cadet College Kohat secured the first position by obtaining 1,165 marks, while his college mate Ahmad Zeb Khan stood second with 1,164 marks. Hanzala Salman, also from Cadet College Kohat, clinched the third position with 1,154 marks.
A total of 97,074 candidates appeared in the SSC annual examinations conducted by the Kohat board this year, of whom 37,878 were declared successful, taking the overall pass percentage to 39.01 per cent.
The ceremony was attended by Kohat Commissioner Moatasim Billah Shah, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Nawaz, Controller of Examinations Tahir Jan, District Education Officer Zohur Khan, Iqra School and College Principal Haroon Niazi, members of the journalist community and parents of the position holders.
