LAHORE:Kashmir Exploitation Day was observed at Fatima Jinnah Medical University here on Wednesday.

The observance was held as an expression of solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming support for their rights, dignity, and aspirations for peace and justice. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hameed, in his address, reaffirmed the university's unwavering solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasised that this bond extends far beyond the geographical boundaries and is deeply rooted in a shared history, cultural heritage, and the enduring sacrifices of the Kashmiri people.

Meanwhile, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged a walk and observed one minute silence to express solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir. UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani led the walk. The participants chanted slogans in support of Kashmiris and against the Indian occupation.
