LAHORE: The CM Punjab T20 Champions League, being organised by the Sports Board Punjab, delivered another action-packed evening across Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions, with Multan Mavericks, Gujrat Thunder and Faisalabad Hawks recording impressive victories.
In Multan Division, the Multan Mavericks showcased their batting firepower, defeating Gujranwala Stags by 65 runs. The Mavericks posted a formidable 214 runs in 20 overs, powered by a brilliant century from Rao Irfan. In reply, Gujranwala Stags managed 149 runs, falling well short of the target.
In DG Khan Division, Gujrat Thunder secured a four-wicket victory over DG Khan Titans. Titans were restricted to 103 runs in 19 overs, with Gujrat Thunder chasing down the target in just 15 overs, thanks to a fine knock of 45 runs by M Hayat.
In Bahawalpur Division, the Faisalabad Hawks enjoyed a double success. In their first match, they edged past Pindi Panthers by four wickets in a close contest. Chasing 142 runs, the Hawks reached the target in 19.5 overs.
