LAHORE: The 12th Servis Tyres PRU 15-a-Side National Rugby Championship, being organised by the Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU), continued with two thrilling fixtures at the Pakistan Rugby Academy on Wednesday ar Lahore Cantt, where Lahore Hawks and Army recorded emphatic victories to maintain their unbeaten runs.
The teams participating are Islamabad Jinns, Lahore Hawks, Army, Police, WAPDA and Desert Camels Fort Abbas. In the first match, Lahore Hawks delivered a commanding performance to outclass Police by 69–0. The Hawks led 22–0 at halftime before accelerating in the second half. Umar was the standout performer, scoring five tries, while Arsalan and Waqas added two tries each. Ahmad, Salman, and Hassan also contributed with one try apiece, sealing a dominant win.
In the second fixture, Army defeated Desert Camels Fort Abbas by 48–5, having established a 26–0 lead at halftime. Mudassar scored three tries, while Sadaqat, Wahab, and Rehman each crossed the line once to complete a comprehensive victory.
