LAHORE: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has announced an increase in the monthly honorarium for 18 national blind cricket players, reinforcing its commitment to the welfare and recognition of visually impaired athletes.
According to PBCC officials, the revised honorarium will be effective from July to December 2026 under the Player Support Programme, aimed at supporting athletes amid rising living costs. The increase applies across all categories, acknowledging the players’ consistent performances in recent domestic competitions. Category-wise revised honorarium: Category A: Rs. 32,000; Category B: Rs. 26,000 Category C: Rs. 22,000.
PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah congratulated the selected players and expressed confidence that they will continue to excel in upcoming national assignments and international competitions.
