WANA: The throat-slit body of an unidentified man was found at a football ground in Birmal tehsil of Lower South Waziristan district, sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said the body was discovered at the football ground, but the identity of the deceased could not immediately be established.Upon receiving information about the incident, the authorities concerned reached the scene, took the body into custody, and shifted it for the necessary legal and medico-legal formalities.
Officials said an investigation had been launched to determine the identity of the victim and ascertain the motive behind the killing. They added that further details would be shared as the investigation was in progress.
