Islamabad:Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi paid rich tribute to police officers and personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, honoring their unwavering bravery in combating terrorism and maintaining peace across the country on Police Martyrs’ Day.

Describing the fallen personnel as national heroes, the minister emphasized that their contributions toward establishing law and order represent a bright and indelible chapter in Pakistan's history. He noted that the nation remains deeply indebted to the police force for its steadfast service, describing its sacrifices as a cornerstone of national pride and stability.

Highlighting the front-line role of law enforcement, Naqvi stated that police personnel have consistently demonstrated exceptional courage in the face of criminal threats and acts of terrorism. He reaffirmed that their dedication guarantees the ongoing peace and security of the country.

Expressing solidary with the bereaved families of the fallen officers, the interior minister assured them that the nation shares in their grief and holds the supreme sacrifices of their loved ones in the highest esteem.
