LAHORE:Chairman of Board of Governors of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Zahid Saeed said work is going on day and night at the institute.
Speaking at the 21st meeting here on Tuesday, he said a fixed time target has been given for the completion of the first phase of the cancer hospital. IDAP has been directed to make the cancer hospital functional on the stipulated time, he said. Zahid Saeed reviewed the progress of the under-construction Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research, HR and other matters.
A 9-point agenda was presented and approved in the meeting. On this occasion, the progress and implementation report on the decisions of the 20th meeting was also reviewed. The minutes of the 20th meeting were approved in the meeting. The final recommendations for the appointment of the Dean of the hospital were discussed in the meeting.
The appointment of candidates was approved on the final recommendations of the special selection board. The meeting emphasised the early appointment of human resources for the hospital.
