Gold prices down Rs500 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs500 per tola in the local market on Wednesday following a decline in the international market.

All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs427,936 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs428 to Rs366,886.Gold rates decreased by $5 to $4,055 per ounce in the international market.

Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates, however, increased by 61 to Rs6,351 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs51 to Rs5,444.
