NOWSHERA: The local police have registered a case and formed raiding teams to arrest the accused after a 16-year-old girl alleged that she was abducted and gang-raped by four men.
According to the first information report (FIR) lodged at the Nowshera Kalaan Police Station, the victim, identified as “L”, a resident of Barakhel, along with her father, reported to the police that she was working at the Aizal Beauty Parlour and had previously been acquainted with a man identified as Fazal Amin, a resident of Badrashi.
According to her statement, Fazal Amin called her on her mobile phone and falsely informed her that her father had met a road accident.
Believing the claim, she left the beauty parlour and went to Kashti Pul where a white car with an unknown registration number was parked. She alleged that Fazal Amin and three other men were inside the vehicle. She said Fazal Amin forcibly bundled her into the car, which then headed toward Mardan.
The complainant further alleged that after the vehicle had travelled some distance, one of the occupants placed a cloth containing an intoxicating substance over her mouth, causing her to lose consciousness.
According to her statement, she was then taken to an unknown location where Fazal Amin and the three other men allegedly gang-raped her.
She told the police that after regaining consciousness, she recognised the voice of one of the suspects as that of her cousin, Shayan, a resident of Badrashi. She said she managed to escape when she got an opportunity, then hired a rickshaw, returned home, and informed her father about the incident.
The police have registered a case against Fazal Amin, Shayan, and two unidentified accused on charges, including abduction, administering an intoxicating substance, and gang rape.
The police said that special raiding teams were constituted to arrest the accused.
