KARACHI: The Tech Advisory Forum (TAF) and Allied Bank Limited (ABL), host the inaugural TAF-ABL Public Sector Digital Transformation Awards 2026 in Islamabad in collaboration with the Ignite-National Technology Fund and the Pakistan Single Window (PSW), according to a statement.
The event brought together government leaders, technology innovators, development partners, academics and industry representatives to celebrate achievements in public sector innovation. Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima was also present.
The Federal Board of Revenue received awards for Revenue Reform and CAREC Regional Connectivity Innovation, while the Ministry of Education was honoured for its connected classrooms system. The PSW won the Data Innovation of the Year award, and the National Database and Registration Authority was recognised for its e-Visa System, Pak ID and e-Sahulat projects.
The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority was recognised for its e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System, and Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW, received the Adaptive Leadership award. Khawaja was named Digital Visionary of the Year, while Aizid Razzaq Gill, CEO of ABL, received the Digital Transformation Patron of the Year award.The event also featured a presentation on Pakistan's AI Readiness Report, prepared with support from the Asian Development Bank.
