KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs4,600 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs433,836 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,944 to Rs371,944.
Gold rates increased by $46 to $4,114 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs7 to Rs6,403 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs6 to Rs5,489.
