Three bodies recovered in Kalat

QUETTA: Police recovered the bodies of three people from separate locations in Kalat district on Tuesday and shifted them to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for identification and legal formalities.

According to Kalat police, authorities received information that two bodies were lying in a deserted area in the Rej locality. A police team rushed to the scene, took the bodies into custody and transported them to DHQ Hospital Kalat.

In a separate incident, police recovered the body of an unidentified man from the Chhapar area. Initial findings indicated that the victim had been subjected to severe torture before being killed.

All three bodies have been kept at the DHQ Hospital for identification. Police said that if no relatives come forward to claim the bodies, they will be buried in accordance with legal procedures as unclaimed remains.

Police have registered separate cases and launched investigations to determine the identities of the victims and trace those responsible for the killings. No arrests have been reported so far.
