Islamabad: The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) recovered a stolen vehicle during routine patrolling near Sarai Kharboza on GT Road, says a press release.
NHMP officers noticed a vehicle parked on the roadside while conducting routine patrol. Suspecting that the occupants might require assistance, the officers approached the vehicle. However, no one was found inside. During inspection and verification of the vehicle’s record, it was confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen two days earlier from the jurisdiction of Police Station I-9.
The NHMP initiated the necessary legal procedures and took the vehicle into custody. The recovered vehicle has been handed over to the concerned police station for further legal proceedings, while efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the suspects involved.
