KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs4,700 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs429,236 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs4,029 to Rs368,000. Gold rates increased by $47 to $4,068 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
Silver rates increased by Rs219 to Rs6,396 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs188 to Rs5,483.
