Among these national heroes is Captain Asfandyar Shaheed, whose extraordinary bravery and ultimate sacrifice have now been brought to the television screen in the drama serial Captain Asfandyar Shaheed, premiering on July 19 on Geo TV.
Presented by Geo TV in collaboration with 7th Sky Entertainment, the serial dramatises the true story of the young Pakistan Army officer who displayed exceptional courage during operations against Fitna Al-Khawarij and laid down his life in the line of duty.
The drama has been written by Abid Hassan Abbasi and directed by Haseeb Hassan. Rising actor Ali Ammar portrays the role of Captain Asfandyar Shaheed, while the project has been produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. The serial will air every Sunday at 8:00 p.m., beginning July 19, exclusively on Geo TV.
