Gold rates up Rs2,400 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs2,400 per tola on Saturday in the local market following an increase in the international market.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association stated that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs424,236 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,057 to Rs363,713.

Gold rates increased by $24 to $4,018 per ounce in the international market.

Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.

Silver rates increased by Rs41 to Rs6,070 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs36 to Rs5,204.
