KARACHI: The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd (PPCBL) has signed an agreement with AutoSoft Dynamics (Pvt) Ltd. to implement a Loan Origination System (LOS), as the lender seeks to automate and streamline its lending operations.
The system will digitise key stages of the loan process, including application intake, credit assessment, approvals and disbursements, according to a statement issued on Friday.PPCBL said the platform is expected to shorten loan processing times, strengthen credit assessment procedures, improve reporting capabilities and support regulatory compliance.
The project forms part of the bank’s broader effort to upgrade its technology infrastructure and modernise operations across its branch network.Senior executives from both organisations attended the signing ceremony, including PPCBL President and Chief Executive Officer Shahram Raza Bakhtiari and other members of the bank’s management team.
