LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting several senior officers across its headquarters and regional formations with an immediate effect.
According to the orders issued by the FIA headquarters, a copy which is available with Daily Jang, the transfers and postings were approved by Director General FIA as part of routine administrative arrangements.
Under the new postings, Additional Director (Investigation) Syed Rizwan Shah has been transferred from FIA Headquarters, Islamabad, and appointed as Additional Director of the Anti-Corruption Circle (ACC), FIA Peshawar Zone. Additional Director (Investigation) Muhammad Tahir Tanveer has been moved from the Counter Terrorism Wing (CTW) at FIA Headquarters to serve as Additional Director at the FIA Academy Headquarters, Islamabad.
Additional Director (Administration) Syed Irtaza Haider has been transferred from the FIA Gujranwala Zone to the FIA Multan Zone, where he will continue to perform administrative responsibilities.
Among the deputy directors, Ijaz Ahmed Sheikh has been posted from FIA Headquarters to the Commercial Banking Circle (CBC), FIA Peshawar Zone. Naeem Khan has been transferred from the Commercial Banking Circle, Peshawar, to the FIA Composite Circle, Mardan, within the same zone.
Deputy Director Qamar Zaman has been assigned the additional responsibility of Additional Director (Operations) in the Counter Terrorism Wing at FIA Headquarters in his own pay and scale. Bahawal Usto has been transferred from FIA Headquarters to serve as Deputy Director of the FIA Composite Circle, Mirpurkhas, in the Hyderabad Zone.
The notification also relieved Additional Director Saeed Ahmed Memon of the look-after charge of In-charge FIA Composite Circle, Mirpurkhas, following the posting of Bahawal Usto. In another change, Deputy Director Rana Shahid Habib has been transferred from the Anti-Corruption Circle to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) in the FIA Peshawar Zone.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz Janjua, previously serving at the FIA Composite Circle, Mardan, and Assistant Director Muhammad Naseer from the Commercial Banking Circle, Peshawar, have both been posted to FIA Headquarters, Islamabad.
