LAHORE:The training activities are in full swing at the CM Punjab Sports Academies being run under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab at various venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
DG Sports Punjab Tariq Qureshi visited the Punjab International Swimming Complex to review the training being provided to young male and female swimmers by the expert coaches at CM Punjab Swimming Academy. During the visit, he observed training sessions and interacted with coaches and officials to assess the progress of the participants.
Swimming Pool In-charge Amir Shah, Chief Sports Consultant M Hafeez Bhatti, coach Rafi-uz-Zaman, and other officials were present on this occasion Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Qureshi said that thousands of young male and female athletes are receiving professional coaching in various sports disciplines free of cost. “As many as 765 boys and girls are currently receiving training at the CM Punjab Swimming Academy”.
